Young social activist, social entrepreneur and a concerned citizen, Dr. Uzma Gul is a promising young leader working on national and international events and for her community since very young age. As a pharmacist by profession, she believes to bring the change not by prescribing medicines but by changing the mindsets of her people in a healthy and positive way. As a Mentor and a Young Master Trainer by USAID and AUSAID, she has conducted and get invites for workshops/seminars/lecture/training sessions as a guest speaker or trainer whether it be leadership, communication, media representation, advocacy/lobbying, organizational management, changes and conflicts in organization, health, education, women empowerment, political awareness and development, other life skills or community welfare related issues. She is young and dedicated to her work and willing to work for her people even in far-flung areas of the country. She is spreading the concept of activity-based learning. Experienced in working with respected welfare NGOs in Pakistan, she got selected for the SRHR scholarship in America among eighteen candidates across the globe. She was acknowledged as ‘Young Women of Excellence 2014’ in the field of Health and Community Services and looks forward to helping her people, expanding her scope of work in social sector, for she herself is pursuing a degree of MBA from Institute of Health Management, Dow Medical University and has been able to immerse herself in activities that are service-driven and community-oriented. Also nominated among 115 nominations for ‘Power 50 Most Influential Females across Pakistan’ Dr. Uzma Gul is the founder of Healthcare Professionals Organization in Pakistan, one of its kinds, bringing all health care professionals on one platform. She is a Global Shaper - Karachi Hub in World Economic Forum, she being the voice of young Pakistanis has represented nationally and selected internationally for young leadership conferences, being associated with the youth organizations as in Management or as Official Lead Trainer, she continues to work for the youth of Pakistan. Working online globally as a motivational trainer for a web based organization. Dr. Uzma Gul now wants to utilize her expertise and gain more insight on the political scenario of Pakistan. |
