Mr. Haroon Ur Rashid Utmani hails from Bajaur Agency, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. He was born on February 03, 1986. He got his early schooling from Bajaur Agency and later from the University of Peshawar and the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad. Mr. Haroon Ur Rashid Utmani completed his Master's degree in Economics in 2011. Currently, he is working as a FATA Parliamentary Associate with FATA Parliamentarians. He has been to United States of America during his student life in 2009 and represented Pakistan as a cultural ambassador. He was also an active member of Adventure/ Hiking Club, student's societies and President Bajaur's Students Welfare Organization, University of Peshawar. He was named as best English Speaker of National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad. As a college student he delegated students and presented the educational problems and issues to governor KPK at Peshawar. As a social worker he rendered meritorious services in promoting education in the militancy hit area, Bajaur Agency by arranging more than a hundred seminars on the importance of education and forming and training Taleemi-i- Islahe Jirga (Parent Teacher Council). As a FATA Parliamentary Associate, he has published a report on the history and reforms of Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR), a law under which FATA is being governed. He has also published a socio-economic and political profile of Bajaur Agency and prepared an analytical report of Elections 2013 of NA-44. He wants to work for the constitutional rights of tribesmen, mainstream FATA and work for the marginalized communities of Pakistan. |
