	Brief Profile
	Mr. Abdul Shakoor Kakar belongs to the Zhob district of Baluchistan. He was born on June 25, 1987 and received his education from early and undergraduate education in Zhob before moving to Lahore to pursue a Masters Degree in History at Government College University, Lahore, with the help of a French need-based scholarship. He completed his degree in 2014 at the top of his class and is now working as an academic researcher. He received a Gold Medal and was placed on the Role of Honour at the Government College University Lahore and also actively took part in sports. He has been Senior Vice President of Garret History Society GCU Lahore. He has had a book published for the CSS by Caravan Publishers Lahore. He is the Regional Coordinator of JZT (Jihad for Zero Thalassemia) Organization; in this capacity he has been actively involved in organizing awareness seminar, blood donation and training of youth from backward districts of Pakistan. He has been regularly conducting debates among youth on various issues. He desires to become an educational policy maker, advisor on public policies, a high-ranking political consultant and a committed human rights activist.

	Politically, Abdul Shakoor Kakar is affiliated with Blue Party and Chairperson of Standing Committee on Governance.
