Brief Profile

Ms. Anusheh Bakht Aziz belongs to the Lahore District of Punjab. She was born on July 4, 1996 and completed her O and A-levels from Beaconhouse School System Canal Side Campus and A-level Johar Town Campus respectively. She is now planning to pursue a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics. She has been a very active student and so held the offices of "Debating President" and "Head Girl" during her school days. In 2013, she became part of "US-Pakistan Lahore Youth Council" and is now the President of the group. The council works to promote volunteerism among youth in Lahore. The year 2014 saw Ms. Aziz becoming Pakistan's representative in "Youth Advocacy Group for UN Secretary General’s Global Education First Initiative". She was selected from a total of 93 countries for this post. As part of the group Ms. Aziz has spoken on various high-level panels both nationally and internationally and has attended 69th session of UN General Assembly. Recently she spoke during the Global Education and Skills Forum in Dubai along side three former head of states. In August last year Ms. Aziz became 'Global Youth Ambassador' for "A World At School" a campaign run by a former Prime Minister of UK. At the same time, she has been involved in facilitating national and international training workshops and has been involved in training "500 Education Youth Ambassadors" of Idara Taleem o Agahi. Now, she is working part-time as "Youth Engagement Coordinator" for CHRS (Complete Human Resource Solutions). Ms. Aziz believes in harnessing the potential of youth to bring positive change in Pakistan.

Status in Youth Parliament

Politically, Anusheh Bakht Aziz is affiliated with Blue Party and designated as Youth Deputy Speaker, Member of Standing Committee on Political and Electoral System.
