Mr. Mohammad Hassan Shaigan, born on May 10, 1991 and belongs to Lahore. Having completed schooling from Beaconhouse Lahore, he holds an LL.B (Hons.) Degree and a Diploma for Graduates in Politics (LSE) from University of London International Programme. Currently practicing law as an advocate with Mr. Khawaja Haris at Law Concern, works on high-profile cases, fights for the destitute and is a life member of Lahore Bar Association. He has exposure of representing both the Government and the grievances of private citizens. He keenly takes interest in legal research, drafting and essays. He worked at two other law firms too and also as a Teaching Assistant for Public & Islamic law at University College Lahore (UCL). He achieved a distinction in Democracy & Democratization in the abovementioned Diploma. A member of mooting society at UCL, won the Moot in 2012 as a speaker and was also a judge. During school days, he topped in various subjects every year and was awarded merit scholarships. He has given CSS exam too and plans to join the civil service and aspires to learn governance through exposure of the functioning of organs of state, public service, leadership and team work. He is closely monitoring the rigging allegations in his constituency NA-122 as a voter and a lawyer. He was also nominated for Head Boy in school. He is also a sports blogger in Express Tribune writing mainly on his interest in Cricket. He also plays in local cricket leagues. He has done social work at CARE Foundation and WWF Pakistan. His essay in Commonwealth Essay Competition 2005 was commended. |
