Brief Profile

Ms. Tehmina Qazi belongs to Sargodha District of Punjab. She was born on May 10, 1987 and received her early education from Sargodha, did her masters in History from University of Sargodha. She moved to Islamabad for higher studies, there she got enrolled for MSc. International Relations in the Qauid-e-Azam University and secured third position in her batch. Later, in 2011, she joined the Government College University Lahore for M Phil Program in Political science; there she managed to take second position in the batch. The areas of research she has worked upon were Political Relations, Conflict Resolution and Policy Formulation. She is currently enrolled in Phd. Program in University of Punjab. She is done with her course work and put her hands on research work. She is working on thesis Militancy and its Impact on Foreign Policy of Pakistan. During her academic life she has been involved in debates and other co-curricular activities. She has managed and organized several events in college and University. Ms Tehmina has recently had her research paper accepted in Istanbul Turkey for an International Research Conference. She believes in multi-tasking, so is involved in various social work activities as well as reform projects in her native city. She is a founding member of an NGO for educational uplift of poor girls in Sargodha and intends to form an NGO for providing health facilities to poor. She aspires to become a high ranking political consultant and currently writing a book on Water Dispute Between India and Pakistan: Implications for South Asian Security based on her MPhil. thesis, she is now committed to become a politician where she could use her credentials for the betterment of Pakistan. Ms. Tehmina Qazi is currently serving Kinnaird College as a lecturer and research advisor and University of the Punjab as a visiting Lecturer. She is concerned about national security and defense policies of Pakistan so has written a paper on Militancy and its impact on Foreign Policy of Pakistan.

Politically, Tehmina Qazi is affiliated with Blue Party and Member of Standing Committee on National Security and Foreign Relations.
