Mr. Ali Jan Awan belongs to district Toba Tek Singh. He was born on August 30, 1991 and received his schooling from DPS Toba Tek Singh and later the University of Lahore. Mr. Awan completed his Civil Engineering and was registered as an Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council in 2015. Furthermore he is a certified associate in project management and works as an assistant project manager in a construction firm. He was the first student who was awarded extra circular scholarship throughout his academic carrier in University. He was the General Secretary of the University of Lahore Debating society (2012-13) and then became the President for the academic year (2013-14). He has participated in several declamation competitions in Urdu and English as well. Then he started Parliamentary style debates and has participated in several tournaments in Pakistan and emerged as a very talented speaker and then made it to participate and represent Pakistan in Parliamentary Competitions in New Delhi, India. He has won many competitions during his time. He had a passion of Model United Nations as well as he rose to participate in Harvard World Model United Nations Seoul 2015 and represented Pakistan in 2500 delegates of 138 countries. He was the pioneer of Drama Club and Environmental Protection Society of his university as well. He has organized several all Pakistan debating competitions and other events in university and was awarded student of the month twice. He runs a NGO as well that works on traffic awareness. He is a motivational speaker and has given lot of motivational speeches in several schools in rural and urban areas. He aspires to become a high-ranking technocrat. |
