Mr. Fasahat Ul Hassa born on November 25, 1988 and lives in Lahore, Pakistan. He has completed M.Sc. in Gender Studies from the University of the Punjab in 2013. Mr. Fsahat completed B.A. in Political Science from the Government Islamia College Lahore in 2010. He has been elected as Chief prefect in the College for year 2008-2009. He started social work from his school life in 2001 as Peer Educator with a local NGO and received Best Activist of year award in 2004. Currently, he is elected chairman of national level youth-led organization "Youth Advocacy Network (YAN)". He is has received "Youth Excellence Award" from the President of Pakistan on International Youth Day 2014. He chaired first youth-led regional level conference "South Asian Regional Youth Conference 2014 (SARYC'14)" in 2014. He has represented as an official youth delegate of Pakistan in 47th and 48th meeting of UN Commission on Population Development (CPD) New York 2014-15, Asia-Pacific Intergovernmental Meeting by UNESCAP Bangkok 2015, 6th Asia Pacific Population Conference Bangkok 2013, and Global Youth Forum Bali 2012 etc. He was Youth Task Force member to organize and facilitate youth forum during 11th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and Pacific (ICAAP) Bangkok 2013. |
