Mr. Hameed Akhtar belongs to a village named Multani Wala 20 km east from Multan city. After completing secondary schooling from the New Heaven Public School Multan and Higher Secondary Schooling from Superior College Multan he has completed a Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering from NFC IET Multan in 2014. In addition he has worked as an intern in Fauji Fertilizers Company Sadiqabad and Mari Petroleum Company Dharaki. He has remained executive member of Institute's literary society and worked to develop interest of students in literature. He was involved to organize events for youth guidance in his village and surrounding areas to present importance of free vote and importance of women rights. These events guided many young people to play an active role in village level politics. He considered social media an effective medium to cover youth and to pass message of a democratic and free form of governance. In coming years, being an engineering graduate he look forward to put his ideas in energy, industrial development and financial policies of Government of Pakistan. |
