Mr. Khurram Abbas belongs to the Chakwal District of Punjab Province (NA-60). He was born on June 12, 1986. Mr. Abbas is Assistant Research Officer (ARO) at Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI). He is doing his M.Phil in International Relations from the National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad and his thesis is "Bargaining in International Relations: Case study of US-Iran Bargaining Process". His area of interest includes South Asian region with particular emphasis on Pakistan's security and governance issues. He undertakes extensive research and regularly contributes in academic research journals and national/international dailies. Mr. Khurram Abbas has distinction to represent Pakistan in 3rd China-South Asian Think Tank Forum (CSATTF) at Kunming, Yunnan Province, China and presented his viewpoint on 'Regional Connectivity'. He visited China from September 01, 2014 to October 30, 2014 under the Gansu International Fellowship Programme 2014, which was sponsored by Foreign Affairs Office of Gansu Provincial People's Government of China and undertaken by the International Cultural Exchange School of Lanzhou University. |
