Mr. Muhammad Aqeel Ashraf belongs to the Mianwali District of Punjab. He was born on March 20, 1992 and received his schooling from FFC Schools Mirpur Mathelo. He graduated in mechanical engineering from the most sought after engineering school in the country, NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology) Islamabad. In 2014, he got selected for the highly competitive and prestigious Teach for Pakistan fellowship. This fellowship is a unique two-year leadership development program, during which Fellows teach in an under-resourced school, immersing themselves and their students in a process of transformation. Mr. Aqeel consistently received various academic distinctions. He received merit scholarship for his studies at NUST. He served at the position of Director Projects at NUST Community Service Club and took active part during flood relief activities (2011) for which he was awarded honorary certificate by Rector NUST. He also served as Director Technical at NUST Science Society and took various initiatives for the promotion of science & technology among youth. His areas of interest include education policy, data analysis, current affairs and entrepreneurship. |
