Mr. Asad Latif Palijo hails from Jungshahi, District Thatta, Sindh. Born on October 10, 1986, Asad has done his Bachelors from the University College London (UCL) and his interests include anthropology, culture, arts and international relations. He has written for Dawn Newspaper and Daily Kawish and Ibrat Newspapers. He writes primarily about promotion of the democratic values, civil military balance and safeguard of rights for all citizens of Pakistan regardless of gender, race, sect and political views. He is an ardent supporter of the Presidential Address to the first Constituent Assembly of Pakistan, August 11, 1947 given by Mohammad Ali Jinnah that envisioned a secular, tolerant and inclusive Pakistan, "You are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques you may belong to any religion or caste or creed. That has nothing to do with the business of the State". |
