Mr. Fakhruddin Ali Valika belongs to Karachi in Sindh. He was born on March 08, 1994. He completed his O Levels from Bay View Academy and A levels from The Lyceum, both of which are prestigious schools situated in Karachi. In order to facilitate his higher education he got the opportunity to attend the Lahore University of Management Sciences where he is pursuing a major in law and a minor in politics as part of the 5 year long BA-LLB program. His interest in public speaking and international affairs led him to joining the LUMS Model UN Society (LUMUN) that is the pioneers of the Model UN in Pakistan. He also has remained an active member of the society serving as a Committee Director (Chair) and as Director of External Relations. He also had the privilege to represent the society and his home country in two International conferences, respectively the EURASIAMUN held in Passau, Germany 2014 and Model UN Turkey in Antalya, 2015. Besides these enlightening experiences he was one of the two people selected by Transparency International to represent Pakistan at the International Camp on Youth Empowerment for Transparency and Integrity in Siem Reap, Cambodia in January 2015. On return from this he implemented a project titled "HAQ" whose aim was to promote transparency in the public health sector through raising awareness and legal literacy. Mr. Valika wants to continuously look for similar opportunities and play his part in making a positive impact on society. |
