Brief Profile

Ms. Shanza Faiq belongs to Islamabad. She was born on September 28, 1992, and received her schooling from Headstart School Islamabad, and is currently enrolled as a BA-LLB student in the LUMS and shall be graduating in 2016. She is currently working with the Attorney General for Pakistan during the summers, and has future plans to work with the law firm Orr & Dingham, in order to gain practical legal experience and skills. Prior to joining the LUMS, Ms. Shanza has represented her school during a Model United Nations in Jordan and was invited by the US Congress to attend a Global Young Leader's Conference in New York. She has also spent 3 years in England, during primary school, where she was a member of the Student Council, president of the Debating Team and Chief Editor of the weekly magazine. During her time in LUMS, she was chosen as a member of the Student Council, editor of the LUMS online newspaper, and represented LUMS during the Model United Nations in Turkey, in 2014. Currently, she is preparing to represent LUMS in a Moot Court competition in India in both September and November. She is actively involved in the Lums Law Journal Editorial Committee, where she writes and edits law-related papers for the journal.

Politically, Shanza Faiq is affiliated with Green Party and Member of Standing Committee on Governance.
