Momna Khan resides in Lahore, Pakistan. Born on May 07, 1989 in Karachi, she did her O-levels from The City School and A-levels from the Lahore Grammar School. She then completed her LLB (Hons) from University of London- International programme. After that she did her Bachelors from University of the Punjab in Economics, Political Science and Journalism. She is enrolled as an Advocate in the Punjab Bar Council since 2012. She has taken up a variety of jobs since 2011, including working in the legal field on a variety of matters, working with the development sector on education and teaching. Currently, she is working as a Creative Associate at an advertising agency, alongside volunteering as a Legal and marketing advisor for a design based start-up in Lahore. She has written two papers; one on the ratification of CEDAW with regards to sexual harassment at workplace and another on the implications of the occupation of the Siachen glacier as a violation of environmental law. She has a keen interest in international relations and aspires to join the Civil Services of Pakistan. |
