Ms. Fatima Tufail was born on September 12, 1991 and has lived all her life in Karachi. In 2008, she joined Institute of Business of Administration (IBA) to pursue Bachelors in Business Administration. She was an elected member of IBA marketing club in 2010 and has organized conferences and competitions on marketing and leadership. In 2012, she joined the Teach For Pakistan (TFP) Fellowship to teach in an under-resourced government school for two years. During her Fellowship, she designed and led a summer camp where she trained 13 interns to teach government school students. She was also selected to represent TFP in the Global Teaching Summit held in Delhi in 2013. Currently, at Education Fund For Sindh, she is working to enable the low-cost private schools in improving their governance and learning outcomes. Fatima is committed to bring equality in education for all children in Pakistan. In future, she wants to pursue a career in policy research so that she can design and implement policies that can give equal rights to all children in accessing quality education. |
