Mr. Sarmad Usmani was born in Hyderabad, Sindh and currently resides in Karachi. He received his Intermediate Education from DA Degree College Karachi and is currently a Senior (Final Year) Student at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology where he is pursuing B.S in Material Sciences with specialization in Nanotechnology. After this, he aims to pursue a Master's Degree in this field. His interests are in Psychology, Sociology, Business and Politics, Criminology, Islamic and Western history, Corporate and Criminal Law. Moreover, he is an active Social Student and Member of two Societies, namely IET and SPIE, Holding the position of Director External Affairs in the former. He is also the recipient of a Best Play Award at the Intra Giki Performing Arts Competition. He is also a member of the GIKI Debating Club too. |
