Brief Profile

Mr. Muhammad Mutahir Ali belongs to Lahore, NA-124. Born on March 30, 1994 to a middle class family he received the greater part of his schooling from the Garrison Academy, Lahore and is currently a final year student of Political Science and Philosophy at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He has had a keen interest in politics and international affairs and throughout my academic career, and has tried to translate that interest into practicality through his extra-curricular activities. In 2011, he led his school team to win an Honorary Mention at the Pakistan Young Leaders Conference held in Islamabad. There he was part of the Foreign Affairs Committee and advised policy recommendations for our foreign relations and national security issues. He has served in the Student Council of his school during A-Levels where he founded the Journalism Society and presided over it for a year. Furthermore, he was the elected representative of his batch in the LUMS Student Council for the year 2014-15 and worked on a number of projects in an individual and collective capacity of social and political importance. Mr. Mutahir Ali has previously worked as a columnist for one of the leading English newspapers, Pakistan Today. In addition to that, his articles on political affairs have been published in renowned national newspapers. He is currently interning at the United Nations Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad and getting a firsthand experience of policy making on matters as sensitive as Foreign Policy.

Politically, Muhammad Mutahir Ali is affiliated with Blue Party and Member of Standing Committee on Governance.
