Mr. Muhammad Waqas belongs to the district of Layyah, Punjab. He was born on March 08, 1993. After his early schooling from Layyah, he moved to the Government College University, Lahore for his higher secondary studies. He then joined the Lahore School of Economics (LSE) after he found his interest in social sciences and graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance in 2014. Currently, he is working with Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) as Development Assistant where he designs various e/m-governance applications and conducts economic and financial analysis of them in terms of transparency and improved Government service delivery. He is a youth activist and has organized various educational awareness seminars and summer camps for students of his hometown. He represented Pakistan at Clinton Global Initiative based social entrepreneurship challenge, Food Security in Urban Slums by 2018, in UAE in 2013. His interests lie in Governance, Human Development, Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Women Empowerment. |
