Mr. Shoaib Asghar Kahut belongs to the Chakwal District of Punjab. He was born on October 20, 1989 and received his schooling from Islamabad College for Boys (ICB) and later the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. Mr. Shoaib Asghar Kahut completed his M.Sc. Economics degree in 2014 & started working as Researcher for different Research organisations. After getting trained by ‘World Bank Pakistan’ on Open Development initiative; currently, he is writing Thesis for M.Phil. Economics degree from the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. Also, he is working for UNDP-Pakistan as a Youth Volunteer. He remained Quiz-winner throughout his school life at the Federal level. He has also taken an active part in Debating & Literary Society at the Quaid-e-Azam University. He was declared ‘Best Volunteer’ for the year 2011 by ‘Pakistan Red Crescent Society’. He remained Coordinator Islamabad for Khudi - a youth led civil society organisation. In 2012, he was selected for ‘Global Youth Meet’ held at Manipur, India. In 2013, he was selected as Member Individual by WWF-Pakistan. He is actively involved in portraying a positive and soft image of Pakistan through social media. He aspires to become a professional political economist and believes in the Power of ‘Youth’ to bring a positive and prosperous change in Pakistan. |
